Terms of Service

Last updated: June 18, 2026

Acceptance

By using ZeroDrop (zerodrop.dev), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service. These terms apply to the free tier, the Workspaces tier, and the @zerodrop/client SDK.

What ZeroDrop is

ZeroDrop provides temporary email inboxes for developer testing purposes. It is a tool for testing authentication flows, transactional email delivery, and QA pipelines. It is not a general-purpose email service.

Acceptable use

You may use ZeroDrop to test your own applications, automate email testing in CI/CD pipelines, and verify transactional email delivery. You may not use ZeroDrop to receive emails on behalf of others without their consent, bypass email verification for services you don't own, send or receive spam, conduct phishing or fraud, or violate any applicable laws.

Prohibited use

The following are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate termination of access: — Using ZeroDrop to create fake accounts on third-party services at scale — Automated abuse of the free tier to circumvent rate limits — Using ZeroDrop inboxes for any illegal activity — Reverse engineering or attempting to circumvent our infrastructure

Service availability

The free tier is provided as-is with no uptime guarantee. Emails on the free tier are subject to AI spam filtering and may occasionally be dropped. For guaranteed email delivery, use the Workspaces tier with a custom domain. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time with reasonable notice.

Payments and billing

Workspaces subscriptions are billed monthly at the rate shown at checkout. Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, who acts as the Merchant of Record for all transactions. By purchasing a Workspaces subscription, you also agree to Dodo Payments' buyer terms.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time from your billing portal. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.

Data and privacy

Your use of ZeroDrop is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Temporary inbox emails are deleted after 30 minutes. We do not read or retain email content beyond what is necessary to operate the service.

Intellectual property

ZeroDrop, the ZeroDrop logo, and the @zerodrop/client SDK are owned by ZeroDrop. The SDK is licensed under the MIT License. You retain ownership of any content you send through ZeroDrop inboxes.

Limitation of liability

ZeroDrop is provided 'as is' without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including lost data, missed emails, or service interruptions. Our maximum liability to you is the amount you paid us in the last 12 months.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify Workspace subscribers by email before material changes take effect. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
